July 19, 2025: Ruff Fish Tournament
The 3rd Annual Ruff Fish Tournament brought together over 40 enthusiastic fishermen across 27 boats for a full day of carp-catching competition. From 12:01 AM to 3:00 PM, participants used any legal method to reel in their best catches.
Prizes were awarded for the largest carp, second largest carp, smallest carp, and the most carp caught. The largest carp at 30 inches was caught by Amanda Achterberg. Becky Abel followed closely with a 29.75-inch catch. The smallest carp, measuring 14.5 inches, were caught by both Kris Weissman and Roger Ross. Adam Steffens caught 47 carp and Todd Lacanne took 45 out of the lake.
